Fox 8 Spotlight for Nola On Tap

Nola On Tap is the largest beer festival in the Gulf South. The festival features over 400 local, national & homebrewed beers as well as a homebrewers competition. With the addition of live music, food and a pet-friendly venue, it’s a really great fest. The best part is that the proceeds go to the LASPCA to support the work that they do for homeless animals in the community.

I have been a fan of this fest for years and have gone a few times in the past. I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to combine a few of my favorite things: beer, dogs and making art. I am one of the key artist for the 2018 festival and will be doing a live, interactive mural.

I joined Nola On Tap to announce the upcoming festival on Fox 8 and did a live installation at the station. It featured dogs playing various roles on the show. The final piece was revealed at the end.
