The New Orleans JCC: Summer Camp Logo
The New Orleans and Metairie JCC Summer Camps have enriched the lives of children for almost 70 years. Campers develop meaningful friendships while having a blast swimming in the outdoor pools and enjoying art, music, drama, cooking, science and sports.
THE CHALLENGE
The ask was for the logo design to be flexible enough to work for both locations while considering the JCC’s values and impact on the community.
THE SOLUTION
Bold lines and blocky letters paired with primary colors give a youthful play to the typographic logo. The “C” for community is highlighted with beams as an ode to summer and the long-lasting sense of friendship and community created at camp.
